Under years of life, of swallowing our voices, of being told in a thousand small ways that our stories don’t matter. Under all the roles and the responsibilities,. Under the long accumulation of being unseen, unheard, told to be palatable.
And for many of us, the writing stopped. The creating stopped. The part of us that had things to say went quiet.
This is what our culture does to women
It tells us our voices don’t matter. And we are conditioned to believe it... because we’ve heard it so many times, in so many ways, that it becomes the air we breathe.
I know this intimately. I lived it.
When I would dance naked in front of hundreds of people and still feel completely invisible as a stripper....
When my mom suddenly passed and I was drowning in grief....
When I lost myself in the role of being a business woman and forgot my raw expression...
I've had so many stories inside this body that I didn't have the space or the permission to tell.
But the thing is:
We can reclaim and activate the parts that have gone dormant.
This is what we do in
Unearthed...
We open up the expressive. outlandish, honest, untamed voice.
We do this through practice. By connecting to the truth that lives inside our body, writing from that place of connection, and being with other women who are willing to do the same. We don't just write in here. We gather. We commune. We create a circle where women's voices belong and are witnessed. We heal visibility wounds.
Because writing is not just about putting pen to page.
It is about having room to feel, to exhale... to connect to the river underneath the noise.

Every session moves through the same arc — root into your body, write from that place, declare what is true. Week by week, layer by layer, your voices comes back up.

A note from Christina
I have been working with women for 12 + years on expression, unlocking the voice, and speaking their stories. I've mentored women around creating books, shows. and talks. And I've supported women in being more courageous and confident around their voice, desires, and truth in every day life.
This work comes from the question that all of my creations stem from- what happens when a woman takes center stage with her truth?
What happens when we write our stories?
And speak our stories?
And let our stories be heard?
Unearthed is my foundational work around this where women come together to feel, connect to the body, write, and have the experience of being witnessed.
This is not just a writing space. It is a place to be seen, to be acknowledged, to be heard. This key piece is missing for so many women. And it allows us to heal all the layers that come up around visibility.
This work was born because I was trapped in my own very shy, good girl patterns that had me living a life that was empty of creativity, visibility, and raw expression. I know what it's like to feel stuck, dry, bored, and repressed. This is not what we are here for! Women ARE life-force, vitality, creativity... writing and using our voices comes from activating the parts of us that have gone dormant.
I pull from my background of dance, theater, movement, coaching, and writing to bring you through a process that reconnects you to your voice.
I absolutely love being in this space with you.

Christina Dunbar is a cultural mythmaker, writer, mentor, producer, and story midwife. Her work lives at the intersection of voice, embodiment, and story shaped into form. Her personal work includes writing, producing, and touring her one-woman show, Dirty Me Divine. She is the creator of SOR: a live storytelling platform devoted to women’s voices. Her mentorship guides women to shape lived experience into books, stage work, and public storytelling through workshops, circles, and long-form containers focused on voice, authorship, and creative truth.

UNEARTHED isn't about all the writing rules or having to prove you're a writer. This is about reclaiming your voice and stories. And having the freedom to express that
You probably will. So will the rest of us. This isn't about keeping everything in. It's about letting it out. That's why this works!
You will not be in over your head. This container is built for women at every season and level of voice work- from women who haven't written in years, to those who write daily. This is not about craft, it's about connecting to your self. It's about having a space to feel and write from that place of depth and honesty.
