In here we listen with soul ears. We sit with the deep care needed for this creative process. We commune with the muse and we welcome messy humanity. We unravel patriarchal ideas that block the flow of the mother tongue. We stir possibility. We write from the guts. We share and witness.
We create a space to birth writing that leaves an imprint... that says...

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
3 IMMERSIONS PER MONTH
These gatherings include creative rituals, workshopping and plenty of dedicated time to share what you're actively writing and working on. You will regularly bring in pages and receive direct mentorship and story midwifing from Christina.

Once a month we will include time to source wisdom from the group. You can bring questions, dilemmas, crossroads and receive collective input. The group functions as a living council offering wisdom from creative women who have your back.

A private, on-going space for ongoing check-ins between sessions. Ask questions, seek guidance, and plug in whenever you feel stuck, tender, or unsure. This is your creative hearth, a place to return to and be held.

STORIED WOMAN RETREAT
Midway through the nine-month journey, we gather for an immersive in-person retreat, a threshold experience designed to deepen your voice, further crystalize your project, and anchor you into the writer and storyteller that you're becoming.
At the retreat, you will:
- Have time and space to open the creative channel
- Move into embodied writing, storytelling play, and somatic voicework to further your project
- Be immersed in the writing process- take parts of your work to edit and refine, get major pieces of your writing project complete
- Share your writing, practice being seen, and receive high-level creative guidance
- Experience artistic practices that reconnect you to your self, your muse, and your expression
ARC OF THE WORK
We define the scope of your project. We vision, write, and connect with the soul of what you're creating. We define what completion looks like for you and how this project wants to be expressed.
SHAPE AND BUILD
This is where we draft, workshop, and refine using the RED METHOD- a body based story writing process refined over 10 years of guiding this work.
CROSS AND RELEASE
Here you will prepare your work to exist outside of you, with a defined release moment. You will cross a threshold so the work is visible.

A note from Christina
I have been working with women for 12 + years on expression, unlocking the voice, and speaking their stories. I've mentored women in not only birthing books, shows. and talks but getting them out into the world.
I don't just hold space for the creative process- I know how to bring work to completion. As a producer, director, and writer, I understand both the invisible unfolding and the disciplined shaping required to turn raw material into finished, public work.
In both facilitating others and doing my own work as a writer and storyteller, I have seen how we have it backwards. In our culture we are taught that this is solo work. When the truth is...
Our story writing and bold visions have a much higher chance of completion inside a container. I know so many women that deeply desire to birth their writing projects and never do. Not because anything is wrong with them-but because the support is not there.
I created Storied Woman for this reason.
My gift is mentorship that moves you from idea to project inside of an amplified field of creativity that raises all women in the space.
I believe in steady devotion that is accompanied by structure which allows for momentum and consistency.

Christina Dunbar is a cultural mythmaker, poetic writer, mentor, producer, and story midwife. Her work lives at the intersection of voice, embodiment, and story shaped into form. Her personal work includes writing, producing, and touring her one-woman show, Dirty Me Divine. She is the creator of SOR: a live storytelling platform devoted to women’s voices. Her mentorship guides women to shape lived experience into books, stage work, and public storytelling through workshops, circles, and long-form containers focused on voice, authorship, and creative truth.

We gather on Wednesdays at 11am pst. Sessions run between 90 minutes and 2 hours. We also have a retreat one weekend in late July or early August with dates finalized with the group once it forms.
We start mid March.

What if I don't know my writing project?
That's absolutely fine. You will find it through this process. We are here to support your voice in a container that allows your creativity, vision, and clarity to emerge.
How is this different from a writing class?
What if I have a project but want to go deeper with it?
What is the investment?
This is not a class. It's a structured development container with mentorship designed to move your project from draft to finished body of work. There is dedicated time to workshop your writing, get coaching, and receive guidance to complete your creative work so it can get it out into the world.
We would love to have you. This is a space for women in different stages of creation gathering to deepen, refine, and think outside of the box to get your project and voice seen.
You have 2 options. There is the regular price of 4,500 and a reduced fee rate of 3,500. This is offered to support access for women in different financial realities, including single mothers and women navigating systemic barriers. Both rates reflects the full exchange of the nine-month container. You are trusted to choose the price that aligns with your season.
