There is an inner voice that speaks your wisdom. It is the voice that erupts with what you feel and know. It is the voice that is unique to your human and divine self. And it comes from your body.
In a culture that pushes narratives that come from patriarchal perspetives, we are taught to disconnect from the wild, wise, mysterious, deeply feeling voice. My immersions, workshops, and coaching are here to plug you back into your truest expression so that you create from your inner authority.
I incorporate movement, embodiment, storytelling, writing, speaking, and the power of women's circles.
The spaces I create support women that are looking for:
SPIRITUAL + PERSONAL GROWTH: for some this work is about personal expansion, gaining confidence + courage, working with the fear of being visible, learning how to express FULLY with no holding back and connecting to your soul.
CREATION: For others, our work turns into books, solo shows, discovering the unique message and vision you have to offer and pouring it into the world.
There is no one way to step into self-expression and courage. Sometimes you tremble and speak your truth and that is a way in. The voice opens.
Sometimes you practice a talk and that is a way in. Sometimes you write from the soul and that is a way in. Sometimes you sit with a circle of women and breathe into your body as an old story comes up to be shared and released and that is a way in too.

“What do we do when we know there is a vision pulsing inside of us but we are not sure how to move forward? A dream that calls to us, but we are blinded by the mists of fear and doubt? ”
For several years there had been this voice inside of pleading that somehow, someway, I take the poems I had been writing for 20 years and bring them to life.
I had no idea what that meant or what form that could take, and then I met Christina Dunbar. I listened to her speak about passion, and letting go of the good girl, and the vital need for our creative expression. And I thought ‘yes!’ this is what I need. This is who I want, no need, to work with.
For six months she worked with me in a way that honored what I needed, and how I worked best. She was a cheerleader and supporter as I grew and stretched, learning to trust my own voice, my own instincts. Repeatedly pointing out how big the changes were until I could start to see them for myself. And on those days when the swamp monsters roared thick and wicked, she gave me the tools to tame them, de-claw them, until I could see that it was only a frightened child hiding behind a story, a myth.
So much has happened since our time together.
And true, it could not have happened without the work I did, the chances I took, but I also truly believe it could not have happened without the loving support and wisdom of Christina Dunbar.
